Setup guide

Install and Authorize the App

Click "Install App Free" at the top of this guide. You will be redirected to HubSpot to select your target workspace portal. Review and accept the permission scopes to authorize Plugivo.

Activate Your Subscription Plan

After authorization, you will be redirected to the Plugivo client portal. Select a plan (start a 14-day Free Trial or subscribe to a plan) to activate your account and enable data lookups.

Verify Connection in HubSpot Settings

Open HubSpot Settings, then go to Integrations and Connected Apps. Confirm that "ABN Verification" appears in the list as connected and active.

Add ABN Widget to Company Center Tabs layout

Open any Company record inside HubSpot. Look at the center panel tabs (next to Activity, Notes, etc.). If the "ABN Verification" tab is not visible, click to customize your record layouts, add a new tab/card, select the "Plugivo ABN Verification" card, and place it in the center layout. Click "Save".

Input ABN and Verify Real-Time Data

Enter a valid ABN number in the "ABN" company property field. The center panel widget will automatically search the Australian Business Register (ABR) and display entity name, active status, GST registration, and address details. Click "Update HubSpot Properties" to sync these verified details back into your company records.

Run Bulk Verification

To verify existing records in bulk, go to HubSpot Settings -> Connected Apps -> ABN Verification -> Settings. Under the "Bulk Verification" section, choose the maximum number of records to verify (100, 200, 500, or All) and click "Start Bulk Verification". Keep the browser tab open while the sync processes.
