Connect your HubSpot account

Install Merge File Properties and approve read and write access to the supported CRM objects. The trial includes 50 lifetime executions per account without a credit card.

Add Merge File Properties

Open a Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket workflow and add the action. The workflow supplies the enrolled record; no record ID is required.

Select your sources

Choose at least two File properties in source order. Add up to eight optional sources. Empty source values are skipped. Each source must be unique.

Choose a destination and mode

Choose a separate writable File property. Append is the default and preserves existing files. Replace uses the selected sources only. Neither mode clears the destination when all sources are empty.

Check the result

Check Success and Status, then use file-count outputs in later workflow steps. FILE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED means the result would exceed ten files and no write was made.

Test on a sample record

Verify ordering, duplicate skipping and Append/Replace with sample documents before broad enrollment. Public launch is pending live API and private-file acceptance testing.

Frequently asked questions

Does it combine PDF contents or upload new files?
No. It consolidates existing file references between File properties on the same record. It does not download files, merge document contents, upload copies or change file visibility.
What happens when there are more than ten files?
The action returns FILE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED and makes no destination change. Files are never silently truncated.
What happens when all sources are empty?
The action succeeds with status no_files_found and preserves the destination, including in Replace mode.
What counts toward usage?
One authenticated invocation with valid inputs uses one unit, including empty-source results and HubSpot failures. Retrying the same execution does not use another unit. Selectors are free. The trial includes 50 lifetime units; paid allowances renew each calendar month in UTC, including annual billing.
What does Plugivo store?
Installation, subscription and execution metadata, file counts and irreversible hashes used to check retries. File binaries, file contents and complete file URLs are not stored or logged.
How are duplicate files identified?
Identical normalized file references are skipped. Different references to the same binary are not compared or downloaded. Cross-format ID/URL equivalence requires live verification before launch.
