Setup guide

Connect your HubSpot account

Sign in to Plugivo, start NZBN installation, select the intended HubSpot account, and approve Company and property access. Free is assigned once during installation.

Set up NZBN properties

Open NZBN app settings or its Company card and choose Create or check NZBN properties. The app uses the NZBN Verification property group.

Add the Company card

In HubSpot’s Company record layout editor, add NZBN Lookup & Verification to a record tab, then save the layout.

Search and review

Search by full legal name or a 13-digit NZBN. Select an entity to preview its official details. Similar names and trading names require your review.

Verify and save

Review the selected entity, then choose Verify and save. The app updates NZBN properties on that Company. Replacing a saved NZBN link requires explicit confirmation.

Refresh or automate

Use Refresh saved NZBN to check the official record again. Pro enables the Verify NZBN Company workflow action: supply a confirmed NZBN or a full legal name, and choose outputs only or save to the enrolled Company. Branch on match status before using outputs.

Frequently asked questions

What does verified mean?
The official NZBN record was retrieved successfully. Registered, removed, in liquidation and other registry statuses remain separate. Retrieval is not an assessment of credit, tax or compliance.
What uses the monthly allowance?
Successful saves, refreshes and successful Pro workflow lookups count once. Search and preview are free. Free includes 25 and Pro includes 2,000 each calendar month in UTC, including annual subscriptions. Repeated delivery of the same operation does not count again.
What happens to ambiguous names?
Manual search requires you to select an entity. A workflow saves a name match only when the complete bounded search has exactly one exact legal-name match. Otherwise it returns MULTIPLE_MATCHES or NO_MATCH without saving or charging.
What if optional data is unavailable?
The card shows missing data explicitly. Unavailable supplementary name history is preserved for the same saved entity. Ambiguous GST or industry values are not chosen automatically.
Does it support monitoring, bulk audit or other objects?
This release supports Company records, manual verification, refresh and a Pro workflow action. Change monitoring and additional features are planned separately.
How much is Pro?
Pro is planned at US$19 monthly or US$190 yearly per HubSpot account, with 2,000 successful operations each month. Checkout remains unavailable until billing acceptance testing is complete.
How do I disconnect?
Use the installation page in Plugivo. NZBN processing stops, pending operations are cancelled, and any Pro subscription is scheduled for cancellation before disconnect is confirmed. Existing Company properties are retained. Remove the app from HubSpot as well if revocation cannot be confirmed.
